The city of Fuhais is situated at varying elevations ranging from 550 meters to 1200 meters above sea level. This variation in elevation gives it a unique climatic advantage, resulting in mild spring, summer, and autumn seasons, while the winter is relatively cold with rainfall and occasional snowfall.
Geographical location
The city of Al-Fuheis is located within Al-Balqa Governorate. It is bordered to the north by Sweileh and Safooth, to the south by Mahis and Wadi Shuaib, to the east by Amman, and to the west by Al-Salt. Al-Fuheis is divided into 18 zones, which are: Al-Hummar 4, Al-Qa'artain 3, Um Al-Akhraq 5, Al-Suqayriyah 6, Um Al-Arais 18, Um Rajm 8, Abia 19, Talat Raheel 13, part of Hasloon East 20, part of Hasloon West 21, Um Juma 10, Al-Muqabla 9, Um Al-Fash 15, Al-Rahwa 11, Um Alya 14, Al-Khandaq 16, Al-Deir 17, and Al-Balad 12.
